M4.6 quake jolts NorCal

Residents from as far away as San Francisco reported a 4.5-magnitude earthquake late Saturday night north of Eureka, according to the U.S. Geological Survey in Berkeley.
The 10:56 p.m. quake was centered 27 miles north of Eureka. There were no reports of damage.
Calls to the USGS reporting shaking came mostly from Eureka and Arcata.
