Gunman strikes another Santa Rosa Shell station

A third Santa Rosa Shell gas station in 10 days was robbed early Wednesday by what police say may be the same tall, thin young man who struck at two other Shell stations last week.
The most recent incident occurred just after midnight Tuesday and involved the Shell station on Dutton Avenue and Highway 12, police said.

Wednesdays low gas prices

Santa Rosas average price for regular gasoline was $3.998 a gallon today, according to AAA. A year ago, it was $2.859.
Among the areas typically low-price stations, these prices were reported this morning:
--$3.839 at Arco at Hearn and Corby avenues in Santa Rosa.
--$3.839 at Arco at Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue in Santa Rosa.
